After witnessing the tragic death of his older brother Marquis, sixteen-year-old Xavier Griffin becomes haunted by grief, guilt, and unanswered questions. One night, Marquis appears to him in a dream, urging him to “be the hero” and help save the neighborhood from the same violence that claimed his life. When Xavier awakens, he takes the message literally — creating a new identity for himself called The Savior, a masked figure dedicated to helping others and bringing hope to his struggling community.
